ABSTRAK
Perawat mempunyai peranan penting menurunkan resiko infeksi nosokomial.Mencuci tangan merupakan jalan yang paling efektif. Infeksi nosokomial merupakan masalah di rumah sakit diseluruh dunia 1,7 juta pertahun, dan hampir 100.000 kematian diakibatkan oleh infeksi nosokomial di Amerika. Wawancara pada 15 perawat di ICU RSUD dr. Moewardi, delapan diantaranya menyatakan bahwa lupa untuk mencuci tangan, tiga perawat menyatakan mencuci tangan dengan alkohol cuci tangan sebelum melakukan tindakan dan mencuci tangan dengan air dan sabun setelah cuci tangan. Empat perawat menyatakan mencuci tangan hanya setelah melakukan tindakan karena ingin segera melakukan tindakan.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalahmengetahui hubungan pengetahuan dan sikap perawat dengan kepatuhan mencuci tangan pada tindakan pemberian terapi injeksi di ruang ICU RSUD Dr. Moewardi. Metode penelitian menggunakan desain cross sectional. Jenis penelitian merupakan penelitian deskriptif observasional. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive samplingdan analisis yang digunakan adalah ujichi square.
Hasil penelitian analisis chi square berdasarkan pengetahuan dan sikap perawat masing-masing memperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000. Kedua nilai tersebut lebih kecil dari 0,05 yang berarti hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima sehingga ada hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap perawat dengan kepatuhan mencuci tangan pada tindakan pemberian terapi injeksi.
Hasil penelitian ini dapat dipertimbangkan kepada pihak rumah sakit atau tim yang mewakili agar melakukan supervisi dan penilaian hand hygiene perawat yang bekerja di rumah sakit, serta memberikan reward dan punishment kepada perawat yang memiliki profesional dalam bekerja.

Relationship Between Knowledge And Attitudes Of Nurses With Compliance With Hand Washing On The Action Of Giving Injection Therapy
At the ICU Room at Dr. Hospital Moewardi
ABSTRACT
Nurses have an important role in reducing the risk of nosocomial infections. Hand washing is the most effective way to help protect the development of organisms that can cause infection in patients. Nosocomial infection is a problem in hospitals around the world 1.7 million per year, and nearly 100,000 deaths are caused by nosocomial infections in America. Interview with 15 nurses in the ICU Dr. Moewardi Hospital, eight of whom stated that forgetting to wash their hands, three nurses stated that they wash their hands with alcohol to wash their hands before taking action and washing their hands with water and soap after washing their hands. Four nurses stated that they only wash their hands after taking action because they want to take action immediately.
The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was a relationship between knowledge and attitudes of nurses with adherence to hand washing in the act of administering injection therapy in the ICU Dr. Moewardi Hospital. The research method used a cross sectional design. The type of research used is descriptive observational research. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling and the analysis used is the chi square test.
Results of the study with chi square analysis based on nurses' knowledge and attitudes each obtained a sig. (2-tailed) of 0,000. both of these values are smaller than 0,05, Which means that the alternative hypothesis (ha) is accepted so that it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the level of knowledge and attitudes of nurses with adherence to hand washing in the act of giving injection therapy.
Results of this study can be considered to the hospital or representative team to supervise and evaluate hand hygiene nurses who work in hospitals, and provide rewards to nurses who have professionals in work and give punishment to nurses who are less professional in their works.
