ABSTRAK
Kemoterapi merupakan salah satu pengobatan kanker serviks. Dampak psikis kemoterapi salah satunya adalah depresi. Depresi jika terus berlanjut dan tidak segera ditangani akan memperburuk kondisi pasien kanker serviks. Terapi SEFT yang merupakan gabungan Energy Psychology dan Spiritual Power diduga dapat membantu menurunkan depresi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi SEFT (Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique) terhadap tingkat depresi pasien kanker serviks di RSUD Dr. Moewardi.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif Quasy-Experiment dengan menggunakan desain Pre And Post Test Nonequivalent Control Group. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan non probability sampling dengan accidental sampling. Responden kelompok perlakuan (n=22), responden kelompok kontrol (n=22). Masing-masing kelompok diukur tingkat depresinya menggunakan BDI (Beck Depression Inventory)
Analisa data menggunakan Uji Wilcoxon untuk mengetahui hasil masing-masing kelompok, hasil kelompok perlakuan menunjukkan p value = 0,000 sedangkan hasil kelompok kontrol menunjukkan p value = 1,000. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh SEFT terhadap tingkat depresi menggunakan Uji Mann Whitney didapatkan hasil p value = 0,000 (α < 0,05).
Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah adanya pengaruh terapi SEFT terhadap tingkat depresi pasien kanker serviks sebelum menjalani kemoterapi di RSUD Dr. Moewardi.

ABSTRACT
Chemotherapy is one of the cervical cancer treatments with some psychological impacts. One of which is depression. When depression continues and is immediately untreated, it will worsen a patient. Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) therapy is a therapy which combines Energy Psychology and Spiritual Power, which is alleged to decrease depression. The objective of this research is to investigate the effect of SEFT therapy on the depression level of cervical cancer patients at Dr. Moewardi Local General Hospital.
This research used the quantitative quasi experimental research method with pre- and post-test non-equivalent control group design. Non-probability sampling with accidental sampling was used to determine its samples, which consisted of 44 respondents: 22 in the treatment group and 22 in the control group. The depression level of each group was measured with Beck Depression Inventory (BDI). Its data were analyzed by using the Wilcoxons Test.
The p-value of the treatment group was 0.000 while that of the control group was 1.000. The effect of the SEFT therapy on the depression level was analyzed by using the Mann Whitneys Test. The result of the test shows that the p-value of the effect of SEFT therapy on the depression level was 0.000 (α < 0.05).
Thus, there was an effect of the SEFT therapy on the depression level of the cervical cancer patients at Dr. Moewardi Local General Hospital.
