ABSTRAK
Pasien gagal ginjal kronik memerlukan tindakan hemodialisis seumur hidup akan tetapipasien akan mengalami sejumlah permasalahan dan munculnya berbagai komplikasi intradialisis dan efek hemodialisis kronik berupa fatigue. Fatigue bisa berdampak negatif terhadap kemampuan diri dalam perawatan. Untuk mengatasi fatigue dapat diberikan aromaterapi lavender karena aromaterapi lavender karena aromaterapi lavender mengandung komponen esensial yang dapat menekan sistem saraf simpati,meningkatkan mood.dan mengurangi kelelahan Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh aromaterapi lavender terhadap activity of daily livingpasien gagal ginjal kronik yang menjalani hemodialisis di RSUD Dr. Soediran Mangun Sumarso Wonogiri.
Desain penelitian menggunakan metode desain quasi experimentdengan one-group pretest-posttest design. Pengukuran dengan lembar observasi untuk menilai activity of daily living sebelum dan sesudah pemeberian aromaterapi lavender.Pengambilan sampel dengan cara purposive sampling, sejumlah 28 responden.
Hasil analisis bivariat didapatkan perbedaan bermakna antara activity of daily living sebelum dan sesudah pemeberian aromaterapi lavender dengan p value 0,000 (p < 0,05) sehingga dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh aromaterapi lavender terhadap activity of daily livingpada pasien gagal ginjal kronik yang menjalani hemodialisis di RSUD Dr. Soediran Mangun Sumarso Wonogiri.

ABSTRACT
Chronic renal failure patients require hemodialysis intervention during their life span. Yet, they will experience a number of problems because the intervention will induce various intradialytic complications and chronic hemodialysis effects such as fatigue. Fatigue may cause a negative effect on a patient’s self-care ability. To deal with it can be done through the administration of lavender aromatherapy because it contains essential components that can suppress sympathetic nervous system, increase mood, and decrease fatigue. The objective of this research is to investigate the administration of lavender aromatherapy on the activity of daily living of chronic renal failure patients undergoing hemodialysis at Dr. Soediran Mangun Sumarso Local General Hospital of Wonogiri.
This research used the quasi experimental research method with one-group pretest-posttest design. Activity of daily living prior to and following the administration of lavender aroma therapy was measured with the aid of observation sheet. Purposive sampling was used to determine its samples. They consisted of 28 respondents.
The result of bivariate analysis shows that a significant difference was found in the activity of daily living prior to and following the administration of lavender aromatherapy as indicated by the p-value = 0.000 which was less than 0.05. Thus, the administration of lavender aromatherapy had an effect on the activity of daily living of chronic renal failure patients undergoing hemodialysis at Dr. Soediran Mangun Sumarso Local General Hospital of Wonogiri.
