Pengaruh Black Garlic Terhadap Penurunan Tekanan Darah Pada Lansia PenderitaHipertensi Di Posyandu Lansia Dusun Patuk Lor Baturetno Kabupaten Wonogiri

Abstrak

Lanjut usia biasanya mengalami penurunan pada berbagai fungsi organ sehingga sering mengeluhkan masalah kesehatannya, salah satu keluhan adalah tekanan darah yang tinggi atau yang disebut hipertensi. Selain pengobatan secara farmakologi, dapat juga dilakukan pengobatan secara non farmakologi ysitu dengn konsumsi black garlic. Black garlic adalah satu cara pengobatan non farmakologi yang dipercaya dapat membantu menurunkan tekanan darah penderita hipertensi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh black garlic terhadap penurunan tekanan darah pada lansia penderitahi pertensi di Posyandu Lansia Dusun Patuk Lor Baturetno Kabupaten Wonogiri.

Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan quasi eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pretest post test with control group.Sampel penelitian adalah 27 lansia penderita hipertensi dengan teknik sampling menggunakan purposive sampling. Kelompok perlakuan 14 responden dengan pemberian black garlic dan konsumdi captropil dari pelayanan kesehatan, kelompok kontrol 13 responden tidak diberi intervensi tetapi mengkonsumsi obat captropildari pelayanan kesehatan. Instrument penelitian berupa lembar observasi untuk menilai tekanan darah responden dan pemberian black garlic selama 14 hari dengan takaran tiap konsumsi black garlic 2 gr/hari dan captopril 2x12,5 mg. Analisis data menggunakan uji paired sample test dan independent t test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan uji paired sample test kelompok perlakuan dengan p = 0,000, kelompok kontrol 0,001. Hasil uji beda pengaruh dengan uji independent t test diperoleh nilai p = 0,007.

Kesimpulan: ada pengaruh pengaruh black garlic terhadap penurunan tekanan darah pada lansia penderitahipertensi di Posyandu Lansia Dusun Patuk Lor Baturetno Kabupaten Wonogiri

Effect ofBlack Garlic on Blood Pressure Reduction of the Hypertension Elderlies at Elderly Integrated Service Post of Patuk Lor Sub-village, Baturetno, Wonogiri Regency

Abstract

The elderlies usually encounter decrease in various organ functions so that they often have complaints of their health condition. One of which is high blood pressure or hypertension. In addition to pharmacological therapy, a non-pharmacological one, namely: consuming black garlic can also be done. The consumption of black garlic is believed to help reduce high blood pressure or hypertension. The objective of this research is to investigate the effect of black garlic on blood pressure reduction of the hypertension elderlies at Elderly Integrated Service Post of Patuk Lor Sub-village, Baturetno, Wonogiri Regency.

This research used the quasi experimental research method with pre-test post-test with control group design.Purposive sampling technique was used to determine its samples. The samples consisted of 27 hypertension elderlies: 14 in the intervention group treated with black garlic and captopril given by health workers and 13 in the control group only treated with captopril given by health workers. The instrument to assess the respondentsÂ’ blood pressure and the administration of black garlic for 14 days with the dosage of 2 gr/day and that of captopril with the dosage of 2 x 12.5 mg. was observation sheet. The data of the research were analyzed by using the paired sample test and the independent t test.

The result of the paired sample test shows that the p-value of the intervention group was 0.000, and that of the control group was 0.001. The result of the effect difference test with the the independent t test shows that the p-value was 0.007.

Thus, the administration of black garlic had an effect on the reduction of blood pressure of the hypertension elderlies at Elderly Integrated Service Post of Patuk Lor Sub-village, Baturetno, Wonogiri Regency
