LANSIA AGUNG SEJAHTERA KADIPIRO SURAKARTA
Abstrak
Kadar kolesterol yang tinggi merupakan salah satu penyebab masalah metabolik menyebabkan timbulnya penyakit jantung, pembuluh darah. Lansia suatu kondisi dimana manusia akan kehilangan daya imunitasnya terhadap infeksi yang berakibat menurunnya fungsi jaringan tubuh Pengobatan herbal dari bahan alami menjadi pilihan utama masyarakat karena mempunyai efek samping yang lebih sedikit. Jeruk nipis dapat menurunkan kadar kolesterol karena kaya akan vitamin C dan kandungan peptin untuk menurunkan kadar lemak darah dalam tubuh. Madu juga mempunyai kadar flavanoid dan vitamin C untuk menurunkan kolesterol dalam darah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Pemberian Air Jeruk Nipis dan Madu Untuk menurunkan Kadar Kolesterol Pada Lansia.
Jenis Penelian Pre - Experiment dengan menggunakan pre and post test without control group. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah lansia di Pos lansia Agung Sejahtera Banyuagung Kadipiro Surakarta sebanyak 30 orang.Hasil Penelitian :1) Nilai rata- rata kolesterol sebelum (229,13 mg/dl) dan sesudah (201,50 mg/dl) diberikan terapi air jeruk nipis dan madu 2) Ada pengaruh pemberian air jeruk nipis dan madu terhadap penurunan kolesterol pada lansia (p-value = 0,000).
Kesimpulan: Terdapat Pengaruh Pemberian Air jeruk nipis dan Madu untu Menurunkan Kadar Kolesterol Pada Lansia di Pos Lansia Agung Sejahtera Banyuagung RT 03/RW 02 Kelurahan Kadipiro Surakarta.

EFFECT OF ADMINISTRATION OF LIME JUICE AND HONEY ON REDUCTION OF CHOLESTROL LEVEL OF THE ELDERLY AT AGUNG SEJAHTERA ELDERLY INTEGRATED HEALTH POST OF KADIPIRO, SURAKARTA
Abstract
High cholesterol level is one of the factors which causes metabolic problems that induce heart attack and blood vessel problems. Elderly period is a period in which the elderly will start losing immune against infections, which results in the degradation of body tissue functions. Herbal medication with natural material has become the first choice of community to due to its tolerable or lower side effects. Lime juice can reduce the cholesterol level due to its contents which are rich in Vitamin C and peptin to reduce blood fat level in the body. Honey other natural material also contains flavonoid and Vitamin C that can reduce the cholesterol level in the blood. The objective of this research is to investigate the effect of administration of lime juice and honey on reduction of cholesterol level of the elderly.
This research used the pre-experimental research method with pre-test and post-test without control group design. Its population was all of the elderlies as many as 30 at Agung Sejahtera Elderly Integrated Health Post of Kadipiro, Surakarta. The result of the research shows that prior to the treatment, the average cholesterol level was 229.13 mg/dl., and following the treatment, it became 201.50. The administration of lime juice and honey had an effect the reduction of cholesterol level of the elderly at indicated by the p-value = 0.000.
Thus, the administration of lime juice and honey had an effect on the reduction of cholesterol level of the elderly at Agung Sejahtera Elderly Integrated Health Post of Kadipiro, Surakarta.
